Best Time to Visit Vietnam
Vietnam's length means no single season suits the whole country. The north (Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa) is coolest and driest from October to December; the centre (Hoi An, Hue) is best February to July before autumn floods; the south (Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta) is driest December to April.
For a one-country trip touching all three regions, October–November and March–April offer the best overall balance.
